MJF Process: Black is obtained through dyeing, while Grey is the natural standard color for both Nylon PA12-HP and PA11-HP materials.
SLS Process: Black is the natural and standard color for Nylon PA12-F.
SLA Process: White, Black, and Grey are the standard resin colors.
Nylon PA12-HP: Balanced mechanical properties with high heat resistance (175°C HDT). Suitable for structural components requiring stiffness and thermal stability.
Nylon PA11-HP: Superior flexibility (50% elongation) and impact resistance. Optimal for snap-fit components and dynamic applications.
Nylon PA12-F: Moderate mechanical properties with good flexibility. Suitable for functional prototypes and components requiring some ductility.
Resin White: Highest stiffness (3.2 GPa modulus) but brittle (5.5% elongation). Suitable for visual models and rigid components.
Resin Black: Moderate stiffness with better elongation than white resin. Good for functional prototypes requiring some flexibility.
Resin Grey: Balanced properties with best impact resistance among SLA materials. Suitable for general-purpose applications.
Recommended: Nylon PA11-HP (185°C HDT), Nylon PA12-HP (175°C HDT) or PA12-F (147°C HDT)
Avoid: SLA resins (max 69°C HDT)
Recommended: Nylon PA12-HP (1.8 GPa modulus) or Resin White (3.2 GPa modulus)
Consider: Stiffness requirements vs. temperature limitations
Recommended: Nylon PA11-HP (50% elongation) or Nylon PA12-F (~35% elongation)
Avoid: SLA resins (5.5-12% elongation)
Recommended: Nylon PA11-HP (5-6 kJ/m² impact) or Resin Grey (36-55 J/m impact)
Consider: Impact test requirements and environmental conditions
Recommended: SLA resins for surface finish quality
Consider: Mechanical requirements vs. aesthetic needs
